AC Flora

AC Flora is the official home field of the SBL.

In recent years it's been more like our home field in Puerto Rico that the Expos had for a few years. Since it's a rare Saturday we've been able to play there it seems.

Still the best field we play on during the year.

Ben Lippen

Ben Lippen is sort of a second home to the SBL. Located on the lush green campus of CIU. This large park will hold most balls within it's confines.

Couple of quirks about the field are shown during night games. First, the sunsets directly behind the third base side making the right side of the field a bit of fun for a few hours at night. Second, the lights are setup fairly low for a baseball field this makes line drives to the outfield rather tricky.

If we can't play at Flora this is the next best thing

Columbia High

Columbia High is probably in about as good as shape as most of us in the league. It's still playable and with it's bandbox dimensions, a quoted 325' to all fields though (I'm guessing it's more like 315'), Columbia High serves up plenty of longballs.

This park could be worse and it's still a step above Keenan.

Keenan High

Keenan, less of a ball park more of a ball farm. If you can hit it out of this park you probably shouldn't be playing in this league.

Basically this field(farm) is our rain policy. We come here when everything else is flooded. Situated on a sand foundation this field only holds water for a few seconds.

We love to play ball so much, that we love playing here even if we have to run off a bum sleeping in the dugout at 8:30 in the morning.

Capital City Stadium

It is primarily used for baseball, and is situated in the Olympia section, near the old Olympia mills. The stadium was rebuilt in 1991, but in 2005, lost its tenant, and is used for college baseball by NCAA Division II Benedict College, and used for Coastal Plain League play by the new Columbia Blowfish in 2006. It's always a blast when we get a chance to play here.
